Introduction

In a quiet residential area of Kimdole, Swoyambhu you will find the pristine Nirvana Academy school standing in all its glory. Established in 1999 with the sole aim of imparting quality education to pre-primary age school grew to include the primary wing and at present holds a place of its own in the realm of English medium primary school education.


     At Nirvana Academy, we believe that each student is a developing citizen of the future. We provide a high quality curriculum, with a committed staff to help prepare students for their future role, as well as to discover and promote the gifts and talents. We celebrate excellence, innovation and creativity in an exciting environment where our school community works together to enable students to become successful life-long learners.


      We also believe that education process is a joint responsibility of the school and home and seeks to involve parents in their child educational program. Each child will progress developmentally according to his or her interest in learning, ability and potential to learn and the encouragement, support and assistance provided by teachers and families. There is no limit to the learning of each child as he or she can continue to develop at an individual rate.


    At our school, we assist both you and your child with any problems they may face during their education period at Nirvana. Curriculum

 The curriculum adheres to the modern trends in education. Care has been taken to ensure that students are not over-loaded with the text books. The school gives equal emphasis that students are not over-loaded with the text books. The school gives equal emphasis to curricular and co-curricular activities.

  • The Library
               The school library is well equipped. It has books for all children as well as teachers. The library has a good collection of children's books and periodicals. The children are taught how to use the library and get the most out of it that develops their knowledge and wisdom.

  • The Cafeteria




Our school cafeteria is perhaps the most 
sought after place in the whole school. It serves whole some meals at lunch time and snacks, and beverage during breaks. Both children and their teacher have their food together. Besides lunch, the children are served fruit-juice, milk and snacks at different times of the day. 


  • Playing Fields


Our school provides enough space for the children to interact and enjoy their leisure time during breaks in a safe environment. We also have a basketball ground where students can have an access to physical exercise too which is essential for each and every child's growth.


  • Computer Rooms



We also provide computer  facilities to our students so that they can  learn both orally and practically. Computers are available to students during their computer classes accordingly.


  • Transport System
The school has a fleet of buses which runs on fixed routes in and around Kathmandu. Students may avail of this facility if they wish to.

  • Co-curricular activities 
At Nirvana Academy we disagree with the idea that curricular activities are superior to co-curricular activities. As such it gives equal  importance to both. The school has an excellent team of teachers who specialize in different co-curricular activities. Our students are taught music, dance, martial arts, different types of sports and many more. It is mandatory for all students to take part in these activities.

The staffs are carefully chosen keeping in mind the interest of the school and its students.  Teachers help to promote the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, mental and physical development of students.
